The 2024 Oxford Seminar, ecbi’s annual flagship event, took place from 28-30 August at the Examination Schools, with 30 participants attending in person—15 developing country Fellows and 15 European representatives. Of these, 22 (73%) were women. Two regional group chairs and the Chair of the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice also participated. The Seminar was preceded by the annual Fellows Colloquium, which took place at Magdalen College from 26-28 August and provided the opportunity for the Fellows to prepare their positions on the issues before meeting with their European counterparts.
